Morgen Myrdal graduated from the University of Washington
in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. During college, she studied Spanish in
Oaxaca, Mexico and economic development in Quito, Ecuador. While attending classes in Seattle, she also volunteered as a public
schools tutor and was involved in a research project studying the social justice impacts of organized labor. After graduating,
Morgen spent the winter working at McMurdo Station in Antarctica, after which she spent 2 months travelling in New Zealand.
She is currently working as a legal assistant at Carney & Marchi, and volunteers as a Spanish interpreter for the King
County Bar Association. She plans to someday begin graduate study in law and labor relations.
